Putin has, already, failed. The whole operation was badly conceived, badly executed and with no clear objectives. Wavering between versions of history, denazification, religious persecution, NATO membership, EU membership, language discrimination, defence of two different 'People's Republics (obviously the Russians are divided amongst themselves and Putin even eliminates their commanders), disarmament, neutrality of Ukraine, accusations against Lenin and the Communists, love for the Communists (NOT Russian) victories, their progress and development, nuclear threats if the Russian Tsarists cannot win, etc, etc... An endless list of absurdly 'justified' reasons.
It seems clear that guerrilla warfare will prevail. A will to fight is the most important now. Germany has been awaken, the West is strangling the Russian economy, Russia's allies and proxies are in mortal danger and will fall with Russia, the oligarchs have been 'discovered', resistance is not likely to subside, Russians are protesting...
All in all, the Russian high command has shown its ineptitude, its brutal and racist prejudices about the West and their lack of political judgement. A disaster for Russia.
