It is false to think that consumption will drive a change of paradigm and open the doors to a more virtuous green world. The secret of 'extractive' capitalism (as believers like to call it without acknowledging that any capitalism is 'extractive'), is in production, as Marx already indicated. The massive propaganda efforts that we see today to convince a, more or less, powerless population, are production driven, not based on consumption. Thus, it is the PRODUCERS of 'green' manufactures, supported by 'their' governments and different regimes around the planet, the ones that are SELLING their wares and CREATING a strong demand for them with their political propaganda and pressure. The power of consumption is very limited and, although in a few cases has shown some influence, it cannot change a system, as nobody can change to something that does not exists. Production has to be created and be functional for a change to be produced. Today, the 'green' industry, through massive subsidies or tax expropriation, has created his products and is ready to create its own demand and sell.

Climate 'Catastrophism'

Tangle and confusion are the essence of believers' propaganda in 'climate catastrophism'. Mixing and confusing all, in an effort to lure, cajole and intimidate a population at the mercy of a massive system of propaganda and a denaturalised science, manipulated and undermined to fit with the orders of the political and economic powers. The idea that nature has to remain in a state of eternal 'stagnation' or 'hibernation', because these subsidised 'experts' say so, is so preposterous that, in a normal world, would have been derisory. Climate changes, that is what it does and even the very word, climate, Greek for slope or inclination, means change. There are many reasons that could explain environmental change in a nature that can only be conceived in movement. From human impact, to the natural movements of the planet or the long term patterns of climate itself. However, even if it was human impact through pollution or other activities, it should not be forgotten that humanity is also part of nature. On the other hand, it is evident that the 'solutions' proposed by this new religion are not credible, as their logical conclusion would be self-destruction, the only way to eliminate a footprint (and even that will leave a catastrophic footprint). A radical change that involves that the usual working-class suspects pay for it, is no radical change. The only uncomfortable choice is a 'revolution', but it is clear that these bourgeois 'experts' and their masters are not even near that concept.

'Greenback' Monetarism

There is nothing renewable about 'renewable' energy. The production of wind turbines, solar panels and other types of mechanisms to produce 'renewable' energy, has also 'occult' pollution costs of which not many people want to talk about in today's climate of 'climate change' intimidation. It is disingenuous and false to think that the change of energy paradigm has no environmental consequences. 'Clean' technologies and systems have certain advantages, as they seem to 'concentrate' damage in certain areas and countries and avoid the most obvious atmospheric damage. However, mining the minerals needed to produce the new 'clean' technologies, producing the generators, turbines and panels, require high levels of environmental, political and economic damage. Thus, not that paradoxically, China, the biggest polluter in the world is, ALSO, the biggest producer of wind and solar energy, wind turbines and solar panels. The mines that supply the metals needed in this 'green revolution', are also in complicated, unstable and underdeveloped areas, subject to low environmental controls, high deregulation, weak labour and civil societies. That is, they will be likely to REPRODUCE the dependency relations of the fossil fuel system. Relations that are, already, being reproduced in the most developed countries, with public subsidies and investments in the hands of networks of corrupt politicians and inefficient businesses. All hidden under the fake rhetoric of environmental protection.
