Le plan d’accord conclu cette nuit entre l’Union Européenne et la Turquie sur la question des migrants est une capitulation inacceptable au détriment de tous les intérêts de notre pays.
La Turquie va d’abord recevoir un confortable chèque de 3 milliards d’euros de la part des Etats européens, contraints d’accepter ce chantage aux migrants car désarmés par la suppression volontaire de leurs frontières nationales et par Schengen. En pleine crise, en pleine austérité, les peuples européens et les Français ne pourront qu’être indignés. La Turquie ensuite va bénéficier d’une augmentation des visas accordés par l’Europe à ses ressortissants. Prétendre combattre l’immigration en ouvrant les vannes, voilà une drôle de conception de l’action politique ! Enfin, alors que l’opinion publique française y est légitimement très hostile, le processus d’adhésion de la Turquie à l’UE sera relancé, de l’aveu même de Madame Merkel.
